Mike oversees administration of budgets, human resources and facilities; organizes and addresses space and remodeling issues. He is an adjunct instructor for the Department of Library and Information Studies as well as a certified Senior Human Resources Professional. He is the editor of the Journal of Learning Spaces and President of the North Carolina Library Association. His published works includes monographs; “Handbook for Community College Librarians”, Library Unlimited, 2013, Strategic Human Resource Planning for Academic Libraries, Chandos Publishing, 2015, as well as several other chapters and articles not currently in this institutional repository:
